Marriott
Kathmandu, Nepal
2017
The project involved the successful completion of design implementation for the 213-key Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu, encompassing a comprehensive range of public areas including the lobby, multiple dining venues, lounges, meeting rooms, and back-of-house spaces.
The scope of work included meticulous design detailing and documentation, with particular emphasis on the development of modular furniture drawings tailored for large-scale production while adhering to the brand's design standards and functional requirements.
Responsibilities entailed regular site reviews to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design intent, and resolve on-site challenges in real time. Additionally, the role required extensive coordination with a diverse network of vendors across India, overseeing procurement processes, production timelines, and quality control measures to ensure timely and consistent execution.
This project successfully integrated Marriott’s international design identity with the local context of Kathmandu, delivering a high-end hospitality environment that is both operationally efficient and visually cohesive.
